چکیده
Background: Leukemia remains a global health challenge, requiring the exploration of alternative therapies with reduced side effects. Probiotics, particularly Lactobacillus species, have gained attention because their potential anticancer properties. This study investigated and cytotoxic effects postbiotic mediators (PMs) derived from rhamnosus GG (LGG) reuteri (LR) on acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) cells peripheral blood mononuclear (PBMCs). Materials Methods: The PMs were prepared by culturing LGG LR strains isolating supernatant. MTT assay assessed cell viability ALL Jurkat PBMCs, apoptosis analysis was conducted using flow cytometry. Quantitative real-time PCR also performed to analyze BAX, BCL-2, BCLX, FAS, p27 gene expression levels. Results: results showed that significantly in (P<0.05) but not PBMCs (P>0.05). Apoptosis revealed an increase apoptotic after treatment. Nevertheless, no statistically significant difference between treated untreated groups levels Conclusion: Findings suggest specific possess properties against cells. research highlighted promise as cutting-edge less toxic adjuvant therapeutic strategy cancer

Effects of Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG on saliva-derived microcosms.
OBJECTIVE The probiotic strain Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG) is shown to hamper the presence of mutans streptococci in saliva and may have positive effects on oral health. We investigated the effects of LGG on the cariogenic potential and microbial composition of saliva-derived microcosms. DESIGN Single and dual species biofilms of LGG and Streptococcus mutans, and saliva-derived microcosm...

متن کاملRapid adoption of Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG for acute gastroenteritis.
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES A 2007 meta-analysis showed probiotics, specifically Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG), shorten diarrhea from acute gastroenteritis (AGE) by 24 hours and decrease risk of progression beyond 7 days. In 2005, our institution published a guideline recommending consideration of probiotics for patients with AGE, but only 1% of inpatients with AGE were prescribed LGG. The obj...

Background and Objectives: Drinking dessert is a dairy product with high viscosity and great mouth-feel. Use of fresh lactic cheese whey in formulation of this beverage is one of the recent innovations in dessert production. Due to increasing demands for novel probiotic products, preparation of synbiotic drinking desserts with two various species of Lactobacillus can help to increase diversity ...
متن کاملBile Resistance in Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG: Stability and Mechanisms
Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG is a lactic acid bacterium that is widely used as probiotic products in the dairy industry. To gain insights into the genome stability of the L. rhamnosus GG in the human gastrointestinal tract and the possible adaption mechanism under different stresses, we first examined the genotype and phenotype of the L. rhamnosus GG grown over 1000 generations under various stre...
